  20. To install this  Windows [TM] program  using the Run Command:

  22. Choose Run from the File menu in Program Manager or File Manager.  The Run
  23. dialog box will appear.  Please enter this text into the dialog box:

  27. This 'SETUP' file will correctly install this ACS application program
  28. on drives C through Z, subdirectory \DENTIST.WIN.

  31. This comprehensive program employs standard setting 'pathless' programming 
  32. designed by Paul Sax.  By using internal seeking logic, this program can be 
  33. installed on any drive C through Z.  Windows [TM] likewise can have been 
  34. installed on that range of drives too.  Once installed, this program will 
  35. correctly seek and find itself on any drive.  Once you exit this program, it 
  36. then similarly seeks, finds, and returns to Windows [TM].

  136. administrative users of this program have the performance of a $3,900 
  137. industry-specific workstation.

  139. One concrete example is the implementation of Alternate Phone Numbers.  To 
  140. see it, go into the Main Program Menu, Option 1) Patient File.  Once you 
  141. have selected option 1, observe the 'G' selection for G)et Patient.  Upon 
  142. your entering the 'G' key, you will see  the first patient record in the 
  143. test data for Dentist's Assistant [TM].  On the bottom right of the screen 
  144. is this definition of the function keys for each Patient record:

  154. Once you select ALT F1, the program presents the "Alternate Phone Number 
  155. Options"  Menu.  This feature gives you an additional 20 alternate phone 
  156. numbers PER Patient.  For each of the 20 phone numbers, you can enter an 
  157. area code and a descriptive phrase.   Each description can be up to 40 
  158. characters.  In addition to the Patient Get screen, this option is also 
  159. available in the Activity Add, Activity Get, and Activity Callback screens.  
  160. As robust as this new feature is, it requires only 10 characters per 
  161. patient record, using a Paul Sax-designed variable field PHONE_2 in the 
  162. main file.

  223. will then ask you to enter the name under which you wish your new ASCII file

  225. files from other sudirectories into the extensive word processing import  
  226. features built in the memo fields of this program.

  228. The Printer Definitions Menu also converts PC-extended text from file(s)  and 
  229. produces postscript output to any postscript printer.
